Family of Raveena

For their daughter, 34 · Chartered accountant
India is many communities, languages and traditions, and an Indian family’s search for a match usually has its own set of priorities: community, language, diet, profession, family background. Khandaan lets families write that in their own words, and gives Indian families across Australia one private place to search.
14 families are listed right now.

Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Christian and Jain families can all list on Khandaan, and every profile states its religion up front so you can see it at a glance. The family’s introduction is the place to say anything more specific, like language, community or lifestyle.
Nobody is shown an address or a surname. Each profile appears under the candidate’s first name and a surname initial.
Many Indian families in Australia are looking for a partner with a similar education and career, and every profile lists education and occupation. You can read those first, then decide whether a conversation is worth starting.
A parent, sibling or the candidate sets it up in a few minutes. No credit card.
Read profiles by city, age, education and occupation. Photos stay private.
Unlock unlimited introductions with one $79 payment (GST included), by PayID.
Full details and photos open only once the other family says yes.
Creating and listing a profile is free, with no credit card. To send introductions you pay $79 once, GST included, by PayID, and that unlocks unlimited introductions. There is no subscription. Matchmakers list for free.
Khandaan is built for families, not for individuals swiping on strangers. A parent or relative can create the profile, introductions go from one family to another, and photos stay private until both families agree to connect.
ID checks are optional. A member can send a photo of a government ID and a selfie, a Khandaan team member reviews them, and the photos are deleted once checked. Profiles that have passed carry a badge. It is a basic check, not a background check, so families should still make their own enquiries.
Yes. You can browse matchmakers who list on Khandaan, and those who have had an ID check carry a badge. Matchmakers list for free, and there are no extra fees for the families they work with.
