Delete your Khandaan account

This page is for Khandaan (the Android app and website). Use it to request that we delete your account and the personal data tied to it.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the Contact form.
  2. Choose the topic Delete my account.
  3. Send the request from the same email address as your Khandaan account, and write that you want the account deleted.

We will confirm by email and complete deletion. Requests are handled by a person on the Khandaan team — typically within a few days.

What we delete

When we delete your account we remove from active use:

  • Your sign-in (email / Google identity) and profile
  • Photos you uploaded
  • Identity-verification status
  • Messages, introductions, shortlists, and other account content

What we may keep, and for how long

Some records may be retained for a limited period where we must, for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations — for example payment and credit-ledger history processed through Stripe. We do not keep your profile live in the directory after deletion.

Change or remove data without deleting your account

Signed-in families and matchmakers can edit or remove profile details and photos, and pause a listing, from My Account. You do not have to delete the whole account to update or hide that information.
