Khandaan exists because the way Desi families have always found a match — through relatives, community, and trust — doesn't need to disappear just because the search moved online.
Why we built this
Before the rishta, there's the first meeting — chai, laughter, and two families sizing each other up over mithai. That moment is the whole point. Most matrimonial platforms replace it with endless swiping between strangers. Khandaan is built the other way around: profiles are vetted, not infinite; conversations happen between families, not individuals messaging alone; and nothing about a profile is public until both sides have actually agreed to connect.
“Khandaan” means the whole family — not one person. It's the word this product is named for on purpose: a match was never just two people, it was always two khandaans.

Indian and Pakistani professional families across Australia — searching for their son or daughter directly, city by city, or working with a verified rishta aunty or uncle who already knows their community. Whichever path a family takes, the same trust rules apply on both sides.
